Phil Ivey has been branded as the greatest poker competitor on the planet by most of the top pros. He was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to NJ before reaching turning one. Phil credits his achievements to discipline and an immeasurable love for poker. Phil states that he’s learning every single day and is very humble about his accomplishments. He admits to making mistakes in each game of poker and constantly aspires to get better.
Although Phil has come first in some big tournaments, he favors destroying cash games on a normal basis.
